Dear Karen and Bill

Lucy and I wanted to tell you how pleased we are with the new flooring that was installed by Academy Wood Flooring last week.
As you know, having recently moved into this house we wanted solid oak flooring laid in our living room, hall, study and a bedroom that would match the flooring already laid in our kitchen.
Bill came round and came up with a very close match and a reasonable quote which we accepted.
Bill and his sons Alex and Billy and the rest of his team arrived soon after. The first task was to remove all the existing carpet and underlay and gripper from all the rooms. This was done cleanly and efficiently and all taken away for us.
Next came the installation of the new oak flooring. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. Furniture was moved where necessary and then returned to its original spot. The floor laying was carried out very professionally and with precision around the many nooks and crannies.
The team were very friendly and polite throughout the whole process. They were also very concerned to make as little mess as possible with lots of use of vacuum cleaners.
We were delighted with the end result. The new flooring is amazing and finished to a very high standard with the beading around the edges completing the professional look of the work.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Academy Wood Flooring and look forward to using them again in the future.

Everyone in the school is really impressed with it. The hall has no natural light so it has significantly lifted the room. We think it's beautiful!

Interestingly, the first time the children cam in the hall there were immediate exclamations, oohs and aahs, and alot of walking along with there heads down in wonderment!!

As a final hurrah - we would love to be able to keep it looking like this and care for it properly. I understand there may be a datasheet on what has been put down. Please can we have care instructions and maybe recommendations of any products we should and should not use, so we keep it looking like this for a long time.
